10th Annual LEAF Fundraiser
The 10th Annual LEAF Fundraiser held at Eagle Eye Golf Club by Laingsburg Educational Advancement Foundation netted more than $16,000 that will be used for grants for teachers, student groups, and staff at Laingsburg Community Schools. Renee Gutzman (far right) and Jessica Doepker (far left) chose to split the two final cash prizes of $500 and $3000 for $1750 each. Helping congratulate the winners is LEAF President April Rowley.
Laingsburg Community Schools to Receive Nearly $50,000 in Grant Money from Community
Funds help support innovative programs that help attract school-of-choice students from 11 other districts.
The Laingsburg Community Schools Board will receive about $49,440 in grants at its meeting at 7 p.m. on February 19, 2014, at the Laingsburg High School Multipurpose Room. The funds are being presented by the Laingsburg Educational Advancement Foundation (LEAF), Laingsburg Sports Boosters, and Laingsburg Lions Club. Read More.
Laingsburg Students and Teachers to Benefit from New Grants
It's that time of year again when students and teachers at Laingsburg Community Schools see a big boost in the "fun factor" of their teaching and learning, thanks to $20,000 in new monies recently granted.
